Forum Update #2!

Hello everyone!
Hot Topics' is now back up and running, and this time were going for gold and trying to get this forum fully active and noticed, so here we are back again with the second forum update, which sees us get new categories promotions and we now let guests post.


Guests can now post in threads!
I've now changed the guest permissions so that guests can now post. You may think I'm mad, but I actually have a theory and I think the forum will really benefit from this update. I've changed it so that guests can now post to try and increase forum activity. We actually get a fair amount of guests visit the site, but non ever seem to join. I understand this and I think giving guests the option to post before joining could increase there chances of wanting to sign up, because they'll be able to get involved in forum activity and post without having to sign up. This will hopefully make it so the guests will post a few times and get involved in threads and then think about joining the forum. I think this is a change that I could have done with adding a while ago, but it never really came to me to change this problem up until now. I hope with this update that it will also get guests more interested into the forum knowing they now have the choice to make a comment if they want to. Guests still can't post topics but they can however add a comment to a thread. So guests, if you're reading this feel free to post a comment bellow and give feedback on this new update for yourselves. 

New Categories!
I'm still working on the new categories, but so far I've added the Ideas, suggestions and Contributions board for members to post there ideas and suggestions so they can have a say on what goes on here in the forum, this category will most likely be used for voting on thing's as well if I have any ideas for updates and members will be able to contribute and say if they think an update is necessary or not. Along side this new category I am going to be adding a few more to widen the topic of chat here across the forum because there is currently little categories for the normal member to choose from, I have a few ideas in mind but I'll keep them a surprise until I decide to create them. Also we now have the category for suggestions after all so if you have any ideas on new category types we could have then feel free to post them there.


Promotions!
And finally, say congratulations to are two newest Suppliers! Leaf and Star, they both got promotions to Supplier for being active and I know them both personally so I know they are both worthy of the rank anyway. So make sure you say congratulations to them and I hope they are enjoying there time in the Supplier base haha.

Hot Topics' Forum Rules

-No spamming.
-No swearing/bypassing.
-No alts. (Unless allowed by a moderator).
-No inappropriate links, pictures, or ANYTHING of the sort. (Yes, I'm talking about ****, and NO 420yolo links).
-No flaming other members, threatening them, cyberbullying them, or anything of the sort.
-No bumping old threads. (About...2 weeks or older).
-No adding music to threads unless necessary.

If you follow these rules, we will be friends. If you don't...here are your punishments.

Standard Punishments:

First time: Warning.
Second time: E.O.T.S, 2 weeks.
Third time: E.O.T.S, a month.
Fourth time: banhammer.

(Unless we say/think otherwise, that is).

If you break an excessive amount of rules at once, a more strict punishment may be given.

All rank are now in place, and almost edited. I'm currently just checking for any faults in the ranks with my alt Bobson. The categories are too in place although I need your decision on if we need anymore, so I'll wait on your reply before finalising the categories.
I have also got rid of the post-counted by ranks because I dislike them but if we are to have them we need to discuss rank names anyway.
Now I'm going to finish off editing the final touches to the ranks.

(Kyle: We need an award process but I don't really like any of the awards we currently have here so you can either have a play with the awards and add new ones and get rid of the old ones and edit the settings (I'll edit the permissions you could just revamp the awards) or you could start typing up one or two of the information threads across the forum, I know there both a little boring so sorry. But I'll be doing what ever you don't choose one I've finished with the ranks anyway. )
